Any ExamSoft user can apply for the certification exam, but we do recommend approximately one year of exam management experience using ExamSoft before attempting certification. How can my institution sponsor my registration fee? If your institution would like to cover the cost of your registration fee, please contact us at certification@examsoft.com. When can I take the exams? Within 3 business days of completing your registration, you will receive your login credentials to download all of your exams. You will have 90 days to complete all 4-6 of your certification exams. How much does certification cost? The certification track you select will determine the cost (see above descriptions for pricing information). How many questions are on each exam? Each individual exam will consist of 25-30 questions. What topics are covered in each exam? Click on the study guide links under each certification track for a detailed breakdown of all learning outcomes for each exam. How can I prepare for the exams? We encourage you to use any number of resource databases available such as the ExamSoft University and Support Knowledge Base. Each of these resources contain a number of guides, videos, and webinars to help you prepare for your exams. Also, be sure to thoroughly review the study guide that comes with your certification track. Each guide includes an exam blueprint, links to specific references, sample questions, and a few activities to try in the system to help you strengthen your grasp of the necessary material. How are the exams administered? You will complete the exams using Examplify, the same way a student in your class would. The exams will be downloaded onto your computer so that you may take them at your convenience. When will I receive my results? Your results will be available approximately 2-3 weeks after you have completed the exams. Please email certification@examsoft.com once you have completed all certification exams. Who do I contact when I have completed my exam? Please email certification@examsoft.com once you have completed all certification exams. What happens if I fail one or more of the exams? If you fail to pass one or more of the exams, you will be able to retake the exam after 30 days. This time is provided so that you can self-remediate trouble areas where you did not perform as well.
